Penelope Rose Nerman, daughter of Ashley and Gregory Nerman, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, October 17, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
A Kiddush luncheon will be held after the morning service.
Penelope is the granddaughter of Marcia Karbank, Barbi Simons, Carlo Radolovich and Sue and Lewis Nerman. She has one sibling, Jett, and four dogs: Tiny Dog, Trixie, Thor and Peaches.
Some of Penelope’s activities include playing sports like soccer, volleyball and skiing, as well as spending time with friends and family.
For her mitzvah project, Penelope chose to support Jewish Family Services by collecting food and essential items for people and pets who need support in the community.
