Mark Rafsky, 74, of Southfield, Michigan, died on July 7. Graveside services were held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on July 13.

Mark was born on Oct. 1, 1951, to the late Alfred Rafsky and Alla Ruben in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from the University of Kansas, he began his professional journey in sales, which took him to Michigan, where he raised his family. Later in his career, he started a payroll services company where he used his sales background to build and expand his business.

In his younger years, Mark enjoyed playing sports, especially golf. He always enjoyed spending time on the golf course with friends and appreciated the challenge the game offered. He also found great satisfaction in home improvement projects, always willing to take on a new task and create something with his own hands.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Errol Rafsky and Louis Rafsky. He is survived by his daughter, Alaesha James, and son, Joshua Rafsky; his brother Steve (Greta) Rafsky; and his granddaughter, Tahlia James.
