Barbara Birnbaum passed away on Jan. 3. She was born on July 12, 1933, to Abraham and Pearl Mann (z”l) and had one brother, Milton Mann (z”l). 

Lori Passman, 96, passed away in December. She was the fifth of five children born to Rose and Benjamin Gorelick in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Central High School in Omaha, and then her story gets interesting. 

Zelma Saltzman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away comfortably and peacefully on Jan. 2. Formerly of Overland Park, Kansas, she was a true “people” person who connected with virtually everyone she came across. 

Jeff Shniderman, 70, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on Jan. 6. Services were held on Jan. 7 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Gilbert O. Shapiro passed away on Dec. 23 at the age of 90.

Lawrence “Larry” Mark Wolfe, 69, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on Dec. 28. Graveside Services were held on Dec. 30 at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Jackye Sue Goldberg (née Greenberg) passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at Village Shalom on Dec. 15.

Larry Goldberg of Dallas, Texas, 76, was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on Nov. 26, 1949, to Nate and Joan Goldberg, of blessed memory, and passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer on Dec. 14.

Stephen Elliot Koffman, 83, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Dec. 13.

Paulette (Pat) Glazer Ramm, 83, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on Dec. 7.
